Nominations for the 6th Annual Comp Laude® Awards will close soon, and if you haven’t taken the time to honor top performers in the industry, this is the time to do so. The Annual Comp Laude® Awards are designed to recognize excellence in the workers’ compensation industry by singling out those top performers who made the difference in either their own lives or the lives of people they served.
Anyone involved in workers’ compensation in any jurisdiction may nominate an individual or company for an award. Nominators can choose from one of ten categories: Injured Worker, Applicant / Claimant Attorney, Defense Attorney, Medical Professional, Industry Leader, Employer, Service Provider / Vendor, Claims Professional, Work Comp Philanthropy, Agent / Broker, or write in a category.
The workers’ comp industry has taken numerous hits in recent years. The media and federal government have taken a less than desirable viewpoint of the industry; but despite our flaws, the system works and we have positive stories to share. Comp Laude is a way to share those success stories.
If you know someone who has gone above and beyond, and has impacted either the industry or individual lives in a positive manner, I encourage you to nominate them for a Comp Laude award today. You may do so here.
The Comp Laude Awards gala will be held October 30th thru November 1, 2017, in San Diego. You may learn more about it here.
Nominations are scheduled to close tomorrow night, May 31st. Don’t delay, nominate today.
Editors Note: It has been announced that the Comp Laude Nomination window has been extended through June 7th.
