It is that time of year again, where the great throng of workers’ compensation professionals converge on Orlando for days of meetings, sessions, and just a bit more than their fair share of fun. This is the 74thAnnual Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference, produced by the Workers’ Compensation Institute. Thousands of people from “coast to coast” (the theme of this year’s event) are arriving for what is the biggest comp conference in the nation.
Among those thousands of professionals are hundreds of people who volunteer to further the cause of Kids’ Chance, the organization that provides scholarships for children of a parent who has been seriously or fatally injured on the job. And this year, for the first time, there will be a Kids’ Chance Volunteers Reception held in conjunction with the conference. For those Kids’ Chance volunteers from around the country who are attending WCI, they are encouraged to attend.
The reception will be held Tuesday, August 13that 5PM in the Miami Room of the Orlando World Center Marriott.
And of course, people interested in learning more about Kids’ Chance are also encouraged to attend. It will be a great opportunity to meet and greet people dedicated to helping kids with their educational dreams.
We hope to see you there!
